I have slowly amassed almost the whole Windermere collection over the years and love every piece I have purchased. They are a good weight, durable and the older pieces look just as good as the newer ones after years of use. I’m old school and hand wash everything, so I can’t say as to how they hold up through dishwasher cleaning. I don’t believe in having separate special occasion dishes and silver. That would be too much stuff to own and store. This collection is simple and elegant enough to use for all occasions 365 days a year.

I registered for and received this set for my wedding. I ordered it site unseen. While they are great serving pieces, they are much larger than I had anticipated. Great for large dishes/buffets for large parties. However, I feel like they kind of dwarf all my dishes. That's my only complaint. Otherwise, they are good quality and hold up well (so far) in the dishwasher.
