I am very pleased with this product in Driftwood color. It is modern and fits our tv with storage for all the games/videos/misc. that we have (see photos with baskets added). The price was very good at Bed/Bath/Beyond. The box arrived in good condition (that was not the case when I previously ordered -- and rejected -- the same product from W-yf--r). If you want a real wood version of this, prepare to pay $800+. Given that this was less than $200, I understood that it's not going to be "heirloom quality" -- but that's o.k. b/c when I'm ready for a change in 5-10 years, I won't feel bad about getting something else. I purposely chose the driftwood vs. the black so that it would not show dust very much. The wood tone adds warmth without being too "country" ('80s).

For $269.00 this item is way overcharged. When I ordered this all the information touted was “wood tv stand.” Wood. Wood. Wood. This is actually cheap pressed wood. Maybe $100-$150 value, but certainly not $269.00. Yes, there was one sentence about “high grade MDF.” I would not say high grade. My husband is putting it together now. He had to get out his drill to add a missing hole for a dowel. His first comment on seeing the pieces (for assembly) was “I’m glad it’s going in the family room because it looks to cheap for the living room.” Aside from the missing dowel hole, it has gone together fine. It is sturdy enough but not in the category of “Wood” furniture. Since it’s going to hold the TV I don’t expect the grandsons to be jumping on it. If it’s treated with kid gloves it should hold up for a few years or more. I would not have purchased this had I seen it in person. I ordered it on line.

I was so excited to receive my stand and it came in a damaged box. We open the half open box and try to start assembling but how can you assemble something with no manual or instructions. Then sat for 2 hours for customer service. Worst experience ever.

Very happy with this purchase, love the color. Was worried that it would be difficult to assemble by myself, but the instructions were great and the parts were well marked. Would recommend having a power drill to install the many screws.

This TV stand is okay and the holes in the back of it are great for cords, but you can tell it's cheaply made from the assembly process, and ultimately it's not a very showy piece of furniture

It looks just like the picture, so overall im happy with it. However, it was obviously repackaged - poorly. Somebody must have sent it back and then it was sent to us. But the styrofoam was broken and crumbling all over the place and one of the pieces has a very visible scratch - front and centre. There are other scratches but they're hidden when put together. Im not bothering sending it back because it took a while to get here and I don't want to wait around again. Hopefully a touch up marker hides it enough.
