I've used Fiesta for 30 years now, partly for their beautiful colors and durability, but also because my online research convinced me they're one of very few companies whose products are reliably lead-free. I collect their earth tone colors, and each new color I add makes the set look even prettier (I wish Sage hadn't been retired, because it makes me happy just to look at it!). I HIGHLY recommend Fiesta for your dinnerware.
I bought 8 dinner plate sets. I’m happy with the first 4 sets, but disappointed with the last 4 sets. Seems I got someone’s return or factory defective products. Many minor dents and looks chipped. Also one of the set box wasn’t properly packed. I thought it’s missed the plate, but the plate was underneath it.

Was looking for something Made in USA. Was pleased to find this. Feels denser and more substantial and looks pretty good.

I wanted a bowl yellow as an accent to go with dishes and pop of color. Easy to handle. And dishwasher safe was a must have for me.
I don't know how many people realize that ceramic pieces (especially from certain countries) often have lead and other contaminants in their glaze. Fiesta is one of the few companies that's lead-free, and it's made here in the US, so it's a healthy, safe product. There are sometimes tiny glaze flaws that don't pose a safety hazard either, the pieces are pretty much indestructible, and the colors are so cheerful that opening my cupboard makes me smile. I particularly like this mug, which holds a lot of coffee and keeps it warm longer than smaller mugs.
