I got this for my hubby...and he really likes it..."not too hot", he says. However, at first he also noticed that the weight would shift or "bunch up", But then he unzipped it and discovered that all it needed was for the Weighted Inside to be Tied Down where it had come with only the four (4) corners. So perhaps more expensive blankets come with the inside already tied down to pay for the labor. ;-) But this is a nice blanket for the current sale price. Hope that helps others out there!

All the weighted glass bunches up and one side or another making a blanket affectively Useless. I wound up buying a more expensive version From another vendor that had compartmentalized the glass beads so they’re not shift around.

This blanket has shed ALL over the house! Anytime anyone uses it the fur comes off onto their clothes. Washing doesn’t help. So frustrating and can’t return it.

This blanket was not even used 5 times and all the inside strap’s that hold the sand bags snapped and fell to the bottom of the blanket shell!

I've heard about weighted blankets assisting with good and/or better sleep habits; but until I finally got one of my own, I didn't understand. I was very pleasantly surprised by this blanket! I thought 15lbs wouldn't be enough; it does so much! Once getting the inside actual weighted part straightened out and connected to the outer fleece blanket, it cocooned me right to sleep. Like having a big hug and snuggles while sleeping. The weight is perfect, the fleece is silky soft, and I didn't overheat ~ which I was nervous about as well. I did learn, rather quickly. If the weighted portion of the blanket becomes undone or all the weights (I'm thinking they're made of plastic) seem to move to one corner or one side, thus turning it into a ball, it takes some time to get it readjusted. When I received the blanket, only one strap was attached. There was no paperwork or directions including leaving me to think it was like any other blanket, in that the two pieces were attached already. Other than that inconvenience, it is a wonderful blanket an definitely worth every single penny!

I loved the blanket, though I did have the same issues of the beads bunching at the bottom. In about 6 months the outer part ripped and the inside sack of beads continues to come out making the blanket unusable. I am very sad because I really loved it before.
