Extreme Weather Kitty Pad in Grey

Very easy to use. My outdoor cats love it. I wasn’t sure if they would utilize it at first. But now I plan to buy another one.

It works. The cat approves but I, personally, haven't slept on it.

My mature cat wouldn’t use the pad, although it was available to her in a very cold environment. She prefers soft layers. So I’ve returned the product.

The product simply doesn't work. When tested indoors, it heats up to a very slight degree. When tested outdoors at around 50F, the heating effect is barely noticeable. There is no way to adjust the temperature. Even though the product literature claims to be able to modify the temperature based on whether a cat is using it, I have no evidence that is the case. Yes, it would be easy to clean, and I have no reason to doubt the solidly built electrical cord is safe for outdoor use. But the product simply doesn't work as claimed. Zero evidence it would be effective for "Extreme Weather Outdoor" conditions. Why did they even bother making this product? How did it get a high review? How can they justify this costly rip-off? Don't buy this.

I built a wooden insulated cat house for my two outdoor cats. I have this pad and some straw inside. The pad is solid as is the wrapped cord. It keeps a nice constant warm temp.

This is my second one that we have bought. Our cat loves the heat. He will eat and go back to the pad for the heat.

Having a hard time getting my porch cats to use it though, the feral stray keeps stealing it and scaring my cats off. They showed up and they're tame and we feed them, but we don't feed the feral that comes around. Product works as intended, would recommend if you have to a way to prevent other cats from stealing the heat. Seems very safe. Be sure to have an outlet near by where you are going to connect the heating pad.
