[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best coffee maker we've ever owned. There's so many features, where do I start? 1. Self cleaning (my favorite feature) we do a deep clean every week however, just to clean out the coffee grounds catcher, the water tray and the water reservoir. 2. Makes multiple types of coffees, i.e. coffee shots, regular cup of coffee, cappuccinos, lattes, espressos. 3. The milk frother is very handy, we fill ours with almond milk and keep it in the fridge until we're ready to use it. And then put it back in the fridge after we've made our coffee. There's so many good things to say about this machine, it would make this review too long :) Please, it's very important to read the instructions carefully and thoroughly. And if you can, watch videos on you tube. It was a bit tricky for us to figure out how to work the machine at first, but we took our time with the instructions and we watched videos. The coffee you make with this machine will be just as good as anything you get at a cafè.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] All I can say is Wow. This espresso machine is my new best friend! It makes an awesome espresso, latte or cappuccino, in my opinion. To start off, set up is fairly easy and the use is easy as well. Can be complicated, make sure to read the manual! It comes with a grinder to grind fresh coffee beans so no grinding yourself but it still used pre-ground coffee as well! Of course, it makes an awesome foam (milk froth). The machine makes sure to keep the perfect temperature and wont have to reheat like a regular coffee machine. The milk container does detach and will need to be stored in the fridge, obviously. Very easy to clean and be ready to use again. Just make sure to clean regularly otherwise you're going to get some nasty espresso. It's not a large machine so it wont take much space to have it set up. High quality and I recommend it. I will say the grinding process can be loud so be ready for that. But overall, it makes an awesome drink!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently got the Magnifica S Cappuccino Smart machine from DēLonghi. Don't let the name fool you. This machine makes all types of specialty coffee drinks. Cappuccinos, Lattes, Expressos, and also what they call the Americanos! We have three different coffee lovers in my house. We each like different style coffees. I flip flop between the cappuccinos and lattes, my son is a cappuccino freak, and my husband is the straight up espresso drinker. Our mornings were so crazy before getting this machine! We would just go to the coffee shop down the street. No one likes getting up in the morning and having to drive over to the local coffee shop and have a barista make our coffees for us, but we did. More times a week than I care to mention. I can't tell you what a huge toll it took on my pocket! I can tell you that we are going to save a lot of money with this machine! Having this machine means to never having to go to the coffee shop again! No more bickering between my husband and I are about who's going to go get the coffee that morning OR having to wait till it's time to go to work to grab our coffee. The great thing about this machine is it's able to make the three different coffees we like quicker than it would be to drive to the coffee shop, or to attempt to make them at home. As a matter of fact it made our three different style coffees quicker than it took me to brew 8 cups using the traditional drip style coffee maker. ((I put it to the test.) The machine doesn't take up a lot of space. It sits nicely on my counter. Cleaning the internal lines and milk frother are easy. Just to push of the button and the lines are cleaned making it ready for the next cup. Ensuring a fresh coffee no matter what style you drink. I mean it really is amazing! Once I familiarized myself with the buttons and what they were for, I became a barista! LOL Have a member of the family or guest that doesn't drink coffee? No worries, the Magnifica S has a hot water spout that is interchangeable with the milk container. The milk carafe itself is easily detachable. Remove it from the machine and store the unused portion in the refrigerator until the next time you need it, eliminating waste. It holds up to 60 oz of water in the water tank at any given time. It has an adjustable spout in order to accommodate all types and size coffee cups, it's capable I'm making two cups of coffee at once. You can make a small cup of coffee or a large cup of coffee or both. It also has an automatic grinder built directly in the machine so you can have fresh ground brewed coffee. I so love the smell of fresh ground coffee in the morning! If you prefer using already ground coffee, no worries flip the switch lift the lid and add your pre-ground coffee. There is a little pull-out tray built-in at the bottom of the machine. This is where the compressed used grinds end up.. They look like black coins. No messy grinds to deal with! Just dump them in the garbage, rinse out the tray and replace it. One feature I love about this machine is every time you power it on it automatically cleans itself by flushing the lines. lines out so you can start fresh each and every time you begin to brew. It's recommended that you clean the easy to reach infuser about once a month. Descaling the machine is recommended every 3 months depending on the hardness of your water. The 60 oz water container comes out to be washed and can be reattached very easily. The removable parts are dishwasher safe. It has a drip pan attached to the bottom of the machine with a float. The little red float will pop up letting you know that it's time to empty the pan. The Magnifica S also comes with a starter pack that contains everything to get you started. Included in the pack is the scoop for pre-ground coffee, water filter, the descaling solute solution and much more. Everything you need to run this machine is included.(except for the coffee, sugar and milk of course..lol ) It's super quick and easy to put together. Once you do that and familiarize yourself with the controls you're ready to go! I'm so happy to have this in my kitchen. As such a big coffee lover I am so grateful to know that I will get the BEST cup of coffee I've ever had EVERY SINGLE DAY! They have customer service reps that will happily answer your questions and also videos to help you through. If I were to sit here and list every great thing about this machine this review would be three pages long. I just wanted to hit on the main things that were so great, wonderful and easy about this machine. It's time saving, money saving, compact. Last but not least it is easy! I really cannot ask for a better machine! So I highly, highly recommend the DēLonghi Magnifica S Smart Cappuccino machine.

I am a newbie in the world of automatic espresso machines and normally seek out my local coffee shop when the craving arises. But not anymore—this machine is fantastic! The price is worth every penny and will pay for itself in a couple of months. I recommend reading the manual completely before beginning to brew. It is very easy to use. The milk frothed surpasses my expectations. You can easily brew coffee, espresso, macchiato, or cappuccino. The machine has features built-in that clean the milk frothed and coffee spouts. The maintenance is easy. I love that it does not take up a large amount of space on my counter. The machine makes the smoothest coffee I have ever enjoyed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow! Is all I have to say. This is like having the luxury of a coffee shop right in my home. After weeks of sitting looking at it overwhelmed that was going to be difficult to operate I finally gave it a shot. I couldn't have been more wrong. After reading the directions of course :) Simple to use and produces delicious assorted beverages. I am running on a 1000 right now because of course I had to try everyone of them and boy is that ALOT of espresso. I am having one issue, could totally be me which is very possible since it doesn't happen every time, is that if I don't reselect using ground espresso when making a beverage with milk (after already having made one) the espresso doesn't drop down and therefore I only get frothed milk. I didn't see in the instructions where it says you have to select that every time (when making multiple beverages without turning machine off) and again I could have missed it....

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have you ever wanted a toy that would help you start a new day? Well, I have always wanted a well-made decent espresso machine. My Delonghi exceeds my expectation wonderfully. This is the first I've owned (I do have a stovetop espresso kettle)but , OH MY! What a machine. Now, honestly there's a learning curve for using this machine because it can do just about anything except the dishes. Any possible espresso drink you would desire this machine does. It even dispenses hot water for tea, instant soups and the like. The guide is helpful as is Delonghi's How-To Youtube Channel which guided me through all of the many functions of this machine. Fair warning this machine will feed your (and my) caffeine addiction. Actually I drink less (so-called) normal coffee as a result. One cup of cappuccino and I'm all set for the morning. Set-up isn't difficult (The guide and instructions included walk you through the procedures to guide you to make that first cup of espresso and cleaning. This machine has a hot water spout that I needed to put on it (It's not shown in this picture because the milk reservoir is sitting there)for any hot water needs. I recommend that you use a two cup glass measuring cup because this machine cleans after each use (just before shutting it off)and the you'll be prompted to clean the milk spout for each use (if you use it). The machine while the reservoir holds 60 ounces of water it uses a lot for cleaning (fair warning) The reservoir is easy to fill. There's a large reservoir for water (60 oz) (Delonghi included a water filter), and a measuring spoon for ground espresso. Yes, it does that also. The drip tray unit hides the well in back (it slides out)that needs to be emptied once in a while (used espresso grounds go here) and there's a brew unit behind the water reservoir that can be removed and cleaned. The first thing for setup is test your water for it's hardness with the included test strip. The top hides the well for the gravity fed coffee mill for whole beans (you'll need to move them towards the middle once in a while so it will feed properly. The espresso spouts are adjustable as is the milk frother tube. Two cups of espresso can be made at the same time. The closer to the cups results in a creamier espresso. As far as I've seen maybe two cons or warning. This machine uses a lot of water and clean the milk reservoir insert often. Everything else is a pro and a delight to use. And it's easier to clean than other machine. Delonghi even a small bottle of descaler to use. You'll be prompted by the machine when to do that, about every two months according to the manual. But no other chemicals needed and this machine is a joy to use.

I love how this one machine can create so many coffeehouse style beverages in the comfort of my own home. It can brew from coffee beans or grounds customized perfectly just the way I like it! It creates creamy and long lasting foam taking the coffee drinking experience to the next level! I usually can never drink a whole cup of warm coffee without having to reheat multiple times. This machine keeps my coffee warm for me! You must experience everything this cappuccino and espresso machine can do! If you don't your really missing out! I will never go back to any regular coffee machine again!
