I bought this a couple of days ago. Followed the instructions in the booklet. Because I'm impatient I had soft serve, but I saw a review that said it gets so thick the paddles stop turning, so they were returning theirs. That's actually what an ice cream freezer does, folks, When its done the paddles stop turning. NOW FOR THE BEST PART!!!... pour in Promise Land chocolate milk and you get this amazing, creamy chocolate ice cream. In addition, this is the 2nd Dash appliance. I am very pleased with both.

I have two complaints about this product.....first, the lid "rises" up when almost done, there should be a way to "clamp it down" so it doesn't push off (and no I do NOT overfill it, actually have UNDERFILLED it and it still did that).....second, there needs to be a base that is solid enough to NOT turn and wind the cord around the base....which also happens when it's almost done.............VERY FRUSTRATING to have to deal with! But as far as making ice cream any way you want it.............GREAT! Just wish they would fix those issues! I have bigger ice cream makers but wanted this to make "just for me".....I use it often, but these problems happen OFTEN. Not the end of the world, but KNOWING these things are probably going to happen, you can't just "walk away and leave it"! I've had it turn itself over on the counter, NOT FUN!

Item I received today seems to have been a returned item that no one checked with return. Ice cream bowl has sugar & is wet inside. So someone tried to use it prior to returning it. Due to fact that I am aged & disabled, I am forced to find someone to drive me to the store to return this item & check to see whether I can find a new & unused replacement. Mail order should not be this difficult.

I purchased 2 for Christmas 2021 gifts, both had a silver like “smudge” on the inside and would wash off. But then next day it was back. I tried to email company and got no reply… Was hoping for the best! Not purchasing again.

I took the bowl out of the Dash My Pint Ice Cream Maker and put it in the freezer a few days before I gave it to my daughter as a gift. The first thing she did was to freeze a 6oz container of Blueberry low fat yogurt. In less than 20 minutes it was actually delicious frozen yogurt! I didn’t expect it to be so easy!

Have used this Ice Cream Maker twice now. First time with yogurt & second time making Ice Cream. Works great. The only thing that is misleading is the name as it only makes 1/2 pint. Well worth the price.
