Just what I wanted georgediver ·

Going from a standard 12 cup coffee maker to a k cup machine began as a no brainer. Keurig is it! THEN I happen to read up and find that Keurig in all there wisdom has made their newer machines to only accept their brand product and brewing your own was no longer available. Guess being older makes one a bit more stubborn and wasn't about to let a manufacturer dictate to me what brand coffee I was going to drink, so with further investigation I found this machine from Cuisinart which was also the manufacturer of the machine it is replacing after 14 years of perfect service. Just don't drink enough coffee any longer to continue using a 12 cup machine. Love the new machine and how versatile it is and makes great coffee (OF MY CHOICE) Bye bye Keurig, hello Cuisinart

Bad and Good-Only lasts one year Beel ·

I am on my second one of these. It is the only system that has everything I want. You can use your own coffee, it has a larger than most reservoir, it is fast, and has a storage place for the kcup. However, both units I purchased only lasted one year each. I do not use it everyday. I do descale it, use filtered watere, and change the filters. I love this machine, but I am thinking of changing because they do not last. Two hundred dollars should last longer than 11 months.

I regularly clean my Cuisinart with vinegar and water but After having this for less than 2 years it started acting up and not making coffee properly. The water slowly trickles down and only make about 1/2 cup of coffee. So I thought it was time to descale again with vinegar and water. I ran vinegar through the machine 4 times but no improvement. It barely makes 1/2 cup of coffee now when I put it on the largest, 12 oz setting and it takes a long time to even brew that. I am very disappointed with this purchase and with Cuisinart.

Over 4 years and going strong jrosen007 ·

This thing is great!!! Largest water capacity of anything available when I bought it about 4-5 years ago. The top mechanism is unique in that it provides leverage like a vice grip when it closes, very solid. Not a problem at all, never descaled, only a few filter changes, I'm just hoping that when I want to replace it which will likely be a few years.... they still make this model. The ONLY thing that would make it perfect would be if they offered a direct water line input from the water supply in my house, that would be true coffee nirvana. As long as Cuisinart makes this or a comparable model I will never look at anything else.

Multi Functional Coffee Brewer ladydeutscher ·

I have had this coffee maker for over a year now, and I can say this it is the most versatile maker I have ever had. Seeing that I'm the only coffee drinker in my household, it allows for me to have the freshest cup of coffee, when ever I want one, plus perfect hot tea, cocoa, ice coffee or tea, and if you just need hot water it can handle it as well. It comes along with a permanent filter as well, for using your own ground coffee. Even if you're a household with multiple coffee drinkers, each of you can have the brew you specifically want, therefore eliminating waste of coffee that is brewed in a big pot.

This is my second Cuisinart Keurig Single Serve Brewing System. When I thought it had been discontinued, I was very disappointed. It was thrilling to me when Bed Bath and Beyond found one for me. It is the best on the market.

these machine's are expensive and constantly need repair, if you get one year good use from it consider yourself are lucky! on a second one now and bang here we go again no morning coffee.. and yes I have decaled it and maintained good cleaning practices! so I guess it's a yearly expense if you decide to go with it!

Knocks Keurig out of the park! ElliG ·

I have owned 3 Keurig systems, from the single serve least expensive model, to one of the latest models that dispense hot water and has a carafe feature (I think it was the 2.0 model). All of the models were fine initially, but over time started having problems like leaking, temperature fluctuations, inconsistent amounts of water dispensed. With the last model I owned, the 2.0, the water started coming out dark and would never come out clean. I did all the recommended cleaning and still the water stayed dark. Then the incessant leaking began and I had had enough! I searched and found the Cuisinart Keurig system and decided to try it, because I just love the convenience of the Keurig system. I am so happy I made the switch! This product by Cuisinart is excellent and has been so easy to use, is spot on each and every time. No temp fluctuations, no leaking, nice clean water when that is all you want and when you want 6 oz you get 6 oz! The product itself just feels more solid and less "plastic-like" when compared to the Keurig product. The design is nice and modern and takes up a little less space than the Keurig 2.0. If you are thinking about getting a Keurig because you enjoy the convenience of the system I would strongly advise you to make the switch over to Cuisinart Keurig System.

I love all the features but..... Frustrated ·

I have loved this coffee maker and all the features but only after 2 years it is only doing half cups and I have done the de-scale to keep it clean along with turning it off for an hour to see if it would make a difference but it still only does half cups. Not sure if anyone else has had this happened to theirs? I hate to buy a new one as they are not cheap but very disappointed that it only lasted 2 years. :(

I love it. I use it for tea and hot chocolate. I especially like the My K-cup for loose teas. I guess the charcoal filter makes all the beverages taste so good, The variable heat setting is also awesome as well as the variable cup sizes. Awesome product.
