No more stubble on my upper lip like I had with the flawless. No more pain than tweezing and much faster

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was my first time trying an epilator as I usually wax my legs so I was a bit nervous. However, this Conair Total Body Epilator was a lot less painful than waxing! Its a little loud, but the instructions said to try it on low speed so I did and it worked fairly well. It did not irritate my skin at all and it did not pinch. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because it left a few hairs even after several passes. I'm told if the hair is fine, this is normal. Otherwise, it was easy to use and easy to clean as well. Just pop the top off and rinse or use the included brush to clear the tweezers. I will be using this Conair instead of waxing going forward and would definitely recommend it to my friends and family.

Before I tried this product, I waited 2 weeks after my last shave to make sure my hair was a decent length. The first time trying it on my legs, it was a good experience. I highly recommend a hot shower and exfoliating prior to use as it makes the hairs easier to remove. I won't lie: this product hurt during the initial use. Using the faster speed seemed to work better for me as far as pain tolerance goes. It didn't take too long to complete both legs but when I attempted under my arms for the first time, I had a more difficult time. While it was painful, I had a lot of irritation afterwards. For the rest of the day, I had a hard time putting my arms down without a burning sensation. I waited two more weeks before trying again. During the second time on my legs, I had a more difficult time and ended up giving up after one leg. Under my arms was a much better experience and I didn't experience any burning or pain. I tried the sensitive are attachment under my arms but I did not like it because it did not seem to grab any hairs. With a full charge, the battery life is long enough to do both legs and under your arms. I tried charging it for an hour prior to one use and it died on me halfway through on leg. I recommend charging this in advance before use. Overall, I don't think this product is for me but I recommend it to anyone with a good tolerance for pain and patience.

I attribute that to never having used an epilator but the strength of this machine is pretty intense. I've only tried it with the guards in place and it's still really uncomfortable to use regardless of where I try. But to someone who usually epilates, this product definitely packs a punch!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used my duo epilator several times over the past few weeks. I like the easy interchangability of the heads and the ability to clean the device easily. It definitely pulls and feels more pinchy that I expected. While it comes with a "bikini area" adaptor, I don't think I will use that as it's sensitive enough on just legs and ankles! For me, this doesn't substitute or take the place of shaving, unfortunately.

This didn't do a good job removing hair and frankly I'm not even sure if it was running at full capacity. I only tried it on an easy spot that I was sure it should be able to work, I'm not a very hairy gal but I do like to keep my arms and legs smooth. I tried the low speed and it barely made a difference so I cranked it up to the higher speed and still nothing. Maybe my hair is too thin but I wasn't willing to try it on someone else. Overall I think the idea is great but the execution isn't.
