After my 7 year old Rowenta iron began leaking water, I was determined to find an iron that met my ironing needs. After much research, I came across this CHI iron and decided to give it a try after having been a CHI flat iron user in the past. The iron was delivered promptly and I couldn't wait to try it out. The iron itself if a little on the heavier side but not to the point that it's bothersome. The iron's sleek silver and red details look much better in person than the picture provided. My favorite features about the iron are the scratch-resistant titanium infused sole plate which mimics the plates used on the CHI flat irons. I also like the amount of water the water tank holds as I felt like I was constantly having to refill my Rowenta whereas I can get a few irons in before having to fill this one up. I like all the different temperature options but due to the size of my husband's big hands and the placement of the temperature option slider, every now and then his hands will accidentally move the temperature button. I've been using the iron for a few weeks now and have no negative reports as to the way it irons and recommend this to anyone who is willing to branch out from the Rowenta irons.
I bought the iron and is it’s roaring reviews and till last week it was working fine but now the ceramic coating has started to peel off and the bottom is blacked out from some places... while hasn’t burnt any cloth but it has a wierd smell when the steam is on and leaves black marks every now and then

The iron is easy to maneuver and it does an amazing job!
Water fill level is a little difficult to see but I can work with it. No spitting. Great steam burst and spray when and where I want it. Based on other reviews I’ve read I just hope it lasts.
How to access returns if there is 2 yr. warranty?
Have not bought a new steam iron in eons. Don't do much ironing anymore. I picked this one online from the available options but ended up returning it. To me it felt heavy and clumsy. I cleaned up my old "dinosaur" and continue using that for the few times I need it.
I am happy with it. Lots of steam, I can see the amount of water in the tank and it's easy to fill. I like the pointed tip, making it easy to get into just the right place I'm trying to iron. The only change I would make, and the reason for four stars instead of five is that the temperature dial is hard to reach and awkward to use. However, I would still buy it again.
The weight was perfect, the dials easy to see, water easy to add. Unfortunately the spray did not work , either top button for added steam or spray. While I don't use these two button often I would hope a brand new iron would work!!! What a disappointment.
Iron works well enough but isn’t the best I’ve had. To me it just doesn’t get hot enough to work on linen or heavy cotton. Other than that it’s fine. It doesn’t stick to starch spray, it’s easy to fill and has nice steam action.
Heats up quickly, stays heated. Steam output fantastic! Really irons well and fast! Worth every little penny. Buy it now because as everyone knows, as soon as a product becomes popular they stop selling it.
