Nice French Press and looks great in my kitchen! I was a bit discouraged when it arrived, because the tape used to hold the lid on left sticky residue on both the metal lid and the ceramic body. I appreciate the extra care in packing, but the job could have been done with several other types of tape that would not have left the residue. I am also a little bummed that the lid scratches the finish of the body, it had scratches upon arrival and gets more every time I use it. Thankfully, they are on the inside rim, so it is not that noticeable. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase, it is sturdy, easy to clean, large enough for 2 cups of coffee, and does the job efficiently. Best of all, the color matches my Kitchenaid Aqua Sky utensils and appliances well!

Used it a few times. Broke in the microwave after only microwaving it for 2 mins. The bottom cracked spilling water everywhere inside my microwave. I had to throw it out since it no longer rotated. I emailed Chantal for product support and they *graciously* offered the opportunity for me to buy a new one at a slight discount. Why would I buy another one, when the product is a piece of junk and the support is even worse.

This is exactly what I was looking for. A French press that is well made, which in turn produces a great cup of coffee, and has some style. The teal blue finds its way perfectly in my coffee bar.
