This ironing board has many good points: It is very sturdy and has a large ironing surface. It opens and closes pretty easily and has a very good range of heights , at least for me (5'7"), though for a very tall person, the highest position might not be quite high enough. At the lowest position, one could also sit and iron. It is not too heavy to pick up and store away. The included cover is over a good quality -- but why did they have to sew a Brabantia label onto the ironing surface? One thing I don't like is the fixed iron stand at the wide end. I find that it gets in the way of ironing big, wide items like sheets, curtains, etc. The material tends to get caught up in the iron rest. Also, I find that the storage rack underneath is not really level, even when the board is fully open. If one is doing a lot of ironing, the rack is really not at all useful.

Love the ironing board along with the additional features of the shelf and the iron rest that I didn't think I would use. My iron splattered and I had to wash the cover. What a mistake that was. It is not longer usable. The liner fell apart. WIthout the felt liner, the cover is too flimsy to use. After buying the expensive board only a few months ago, I need to replace the cover. The ironing boards I have had in the past have always had washable covers. This was a real disappointment. I hope I can find a replacement cover. Brabantia doesn't seem to carry a replacement : (

The larger size Brabantia Super Stable Comfort Professional Ironing Board is the greatest ironing boar I have ever used. The surface is larger and very stable. When ironing fabric for sewing the board surface is large enough to get even and straight fabric alignment. The board holds the iron so well on the end iron holder with no wobblies between ironing and resting iron. Padding and cover are firm creating less wrinkles while ironing. GREAT
