I actually only bought this yesterday and plan to try it out today. I'm giving this review based on my past experience with a Black and Decker hand mixer. I received one as a wedding present 50 years ago and I'm still using it. The power cord on the old one is so frayed that I decided to get the new one for safety reasons, otherwise it still works great! I feel the company's dependability speaks for itself and I'm confident I'll be using this one for a long time.

Excellent hand mixer. Works as it should. I love that it has a stand up base to store the beaters and cord in. Keeps everything together.

No slow speed

The lowest speed is more like medium (4 or so) on my Kitchen Aid stand mixer. However, it’s easy to use for cakes/cookies, potatoes, etc. It works great for me and I like the storage compartment for the beaters and the cord. I deducted 1 star for the speed issue, but it’s really not an issue for me.
