Have been a fan of the retractable cord for many years, had only found this feature with one other brand which typically lasted about 2 years. When my last one just stopped heating, saw I had a choice and tried it. The cord feature works well, big surprise was that ironing is smoother and easier AND it was about half the price of the brand I had been buying.

I can't recommend this iron as it leaks water everywhere! I followed the directions and unfortunately, this is just a terrible product. It also does not allow you to control the flow of steam- it is supposed to automatically come on only when you have it at a level 4 or higher. Unfortunately, I found that it sometimes will also come on when you have the heat set to 3. This happened to me while ironing curtains (on heat setting 3) that came with giant warning labels indicating absolutely no steam. Between that and the fact that it randomly leaks water (more so when using a higher steam temperature) I want to take this purchase back.

I really like this iron. Does not spit. Heats up fast and irons crisp seams. It’s easy to fill the water tank and the water level line is easy to read. The only con I have is where the cord is. It’s definitely for a right handed person. I keep sitting the iron on the cord. I would give it 5 stars if not for the cord placement.

Boxed it back up to return after 2 uses. The largest flaw is the fill port. It's too small to fill easily, and it collects a drip of water as you iron; every time you stand it back up, the drip leaks out. Ironing board was soaking wet by the time I was finished with one shirt! Bad design. Dislike the retractable cord, I can tell the cord will be a curly disaster that will never retract in no time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this version because it's retractable cord. The if made from some type of cheap plastic. When you press the button to retract does not go all the way in. You have to pull it several times before it goes in.
