I would have spent more on a toaster oven but I really didn't need to. This oven has all the features I need and does the job. It's compact so don't expect to fit full size turkeys or pizza in it, but if you want to toast or bake anything, it does the job well. I can fit about 3 slices of bread side by side on the rack if that gives you an idea of the size. It's hard to fit a 4th piece in there unless your bread is normal size squares (we use the larger sour dough bread so it takes up more room). The description says you can fit 6 pieces of bread... well, I suppose if they are those smaller, square Wonder Bread size pieces. Sure, I can go with that. It's got two removable catch-trays, one under the rack and one at the bottom of the oven (but you only remove the bottom one for cleaning). The rack itself has two placements: Near the top or near the bottom. Not sure which is better for what. I suppose I could buy another rack and put more toast in it! Hey, that's not a bad idea. The front is chrome but the rest is a dark grey. I wish the whole thing was chrome as my girlfriend didn't like the dark grey. Regardless, for the price it's an excellent unit so no complaints here. We used our last Black and Decker toaster oven until the wheels fell off and we'll probably do the same with this one. It does what it is designed to do well and it's worth every penny.

I should start by saying I returned this toaster before using it. I purchased the toaster online based on its description as a 6-slice toaster oven because I was looking to upgrade my worn out one to something larger. This turned out to be SMALLER than the 4-slice toaster oven I currently own! I'm not even sure you could lay 4 slices of toast inside this. So....buyer beware. The product description simply isn't what this is.

I purchased this at Bed & Bath last year for my office. It went unused in the box for a very long time. When I got around to opening it and putting it out, I found it had no tray ! I’ve reached out to B7B and Black and Decker to try to find a replacement part. I am very willing to pay for it but have gotten no response! wasted my money !

I had such high expectations for this toaster oven. The timer knob is very difficult to turn. The baking tray that comes with it buckles every time you bake/broil. I thought that maybe it was defective so I got a replacement. It did the same thing. Black & Decker is not what it use to be. The one positive thing is the toast feature is great even though it can only fit just four slices.

Wanted a smaller footprint for a toaster oven for limited space in my kitchen. This is good size for most needs and functions. Performs well. Only critique is that the dials need more pronounced (red?) indicator markings.
