This is a very pretty "quilt." However, it's not red and white pieces stitched together. It's a big sheet of red fabric with white stars already printed on it that is machine stitched with rows to keep the batting in place. So not your grandma's quilt. Probably obvious from the price. I still think it is beautiful, and it looks great in my spare room. As far as shipping, it arrived quickly, but one end of the bag was never sealed at the warehouse! It was just a big open bag floating around FedEx or UPS or however it was sent. None of those people even thought to put some tape on it. I feel lucky to have even received it. It was dusty inside, but I was going to wash it right away before I put it on the bed anyway.

I was so excited to get this bedding for the holidays…and so disappointed when it bled slightly at the first washing. I followed the instructions exactly (cold water wash; tumble dry low). I hope subsequent washings won’t increase the bleed from the red onto the white stars… :-(

I purchased 2 one king, and one queen. I sent one to my best friend and both she and I LOVE IT!!! It beautiful, well made and Wish it came in other colors. (yellow and white)

I love this quilt and shams. It was perfect for Christmas holidays -- I added a couple of green throw pillows for the season. I'm going to use it again in July -- it will be perfect to add some blue for the 4th of July! The quilt and shams are well made and I like that I can reverse the quilt to a solid color, too.
