Artesia 84-Inch Grommet 98% Blackout Window Curtain Panel in Egret (Single)

I just got around to setting up my baby’s nursery so unfortunately I’m passed the window to return. These panels are completely see through. I will have to get black out blinds to put behind them. So disappointing.

I love the fabric and pattern but these are not blackout at all. The panels are ridiculously narrow at 38” fully stretched out. The usual rule of thumb is to multiply your window width by 1 1/2 or 2 to determine the width of curtain you need if you want any pleating or folds. 76” would just cover my window, so I opted to buy 3 panels. But to achieve ANY room darkening, I need twice that! So, yes, because I like the fabric and the way they hang, I’m actually going to buy 3 more - six panels in total.

In no universe are these blackout curtains. They are not even room darkening. I have faux wood blinds behind them.

These are nice curtains but definitely not blackout. I got blush which maybe why they don’t blockout 98% light as stated in description but I’m ok with that. They are light filtering, approx 50% or less. The pattern is subtle and they hang nicely. I got on sale so happy with the purchase

Curtains are not blackout curtains.

I was surprised to see how pretty the curtain is. It has texture and weight. It is not flimsy. Nice sheen to it too. It does not completely black out light but enough to make room darker.

Buyer beware! I don't know what their definition of blackout is, but these are not it. Fabric is a single piece of thin transparent fabric without any additional fabric or light blocking attributes. While the fabric is nice, the description is not accurate. I will need to purchase blackout or other drapery lining to see into these to make them truly blackout curtains. These curtains may reduce glare coming into the room, but do NOT block any light. These would be returned if I didn't pay less then $10 for them.
