Shipping & Delivery
We’ll email updates as we process your order, including carrier tracking details for shipped orders. You can track our order from your shipping confirmation email, your My Account, or by visiting our website.
Tracking information can take up to 24 hours to appear after your item ships. Please see the tracking instructions below for using our app and website.

While we want everything to reach you on time and in perfect condition, sometimes we miss the mark.
Label Created Status
You don't have to worry, we are finalizing your order for shipping. Your tracking will update once the carrier picks up and scans your item for delivery.
If you do not see tracking after 48 hours, please contact us.
Tracking hasn't been updated in 48 hours
- USPS, FedEx Ground Delivery, and UPS Ground Delivery tracking will not update on weekends. Please wait until the next business day for the tracking to update.
- FedEx Home Delivery and UPS Home Delivery will not update tracking on Sunday or Monday.
- For delays due to severe weather, carrier outages, or unforeseen natural causes, please check the delivery carrier’s web site for updates.
If your tracking information states that your package was delivered but you have not received it
- please check the perimeter of your home as the package may have been left out of view from the street.
- Please check with your neighbors as someone may have retrieved the package.
- If you still are unable to locate your package, please contact us.
Expected delivery date change
- If your delivery date changes, please allow the carrier the opportunity to deliver on the new scheduled day.
Unable to Deliver
- Sometimes carriers are unable to deliver your package. The carrier will let you know they are holding it at a local facility by leaving a note or calling you directly. Please contact the carrier to inquire about picking up your package if needed.
Delivery status pending
- If your tracking information shows “Pending” and there is no delivery date after 48 hours, please contact us for assistance.
Yes, Bed Bath & Beyond does charge shipping based on the total cost of your order. In some cases, an additional fee will be charged for the shipment of oversized or overweight items. To see the current shipping services and fees, please click here.

Most of the items shown on our website are available in our stores nationwide. However, some stores may not carry an entire collection.
If you cannot find an item you are looking for online through BOPIS, you can place an order to have it ship to your home.
If you cannot find an item you are looking for while shopping in one of our stores or the store does not have the item in stock, ask an associate in the store to order it for you to have it ship to your home.

What is Same Day Delivery?
Same Day Delivery is a service that we offer to get your favorite products delivered to your door as fast as possible. As you begin to shop same day delivery items, delivery cut-off times will be listed based on your zip code.
Same Day Delivery orders can only be placed online at Bed Bath & Beyond.
A personal shopper will pick up your items in-store and bring them right to your door.

How do I place an order for Same Day Delivery?
If the products are eligible for Same Day Delivery, you'll be able to select the Same Day Delivery option and add items to your cart.
You will receive an order confirmation email from us showing your Same Day Delivery order has been placed.
You will also receive communications from us once the item(s) have been picked up by your shopper and the order is on its way.
Can I make changes to my Same Day Delivery Order?
Once the order is placed, we are unable to make any changes or guarantee cancellation of merchandise selected.
Which addresses are available for Same Day Delivery?
We are currently able to provide Same-Day Delivery to home addresses only within proximity to our Bed Bath & Beyond or buybuy Baby stores. You will be able to confirm availability on your delivery postal code while shopping for Same-Day Delivery items.
When will my Same Day Delivery order be delivered?
As you begin to shop Same Day Delivery items, delivery cut-off times will be listed for your specific zip code.
Orders placed after the specific cut-off times will be delivered the next day.

What are the shipping fees for Same Day Delivery?
For all orders, a same day delivery shipping fee of $9.99 will be charged.
Shipping fees are not refundable for preference returns, refusing delivery upon arrival or if you're unable to accept the order at time of delivery.
How will my order be delivered?
Our delivery partner will text you when the order has been picked up and it's on its way.
Your order will be dropped off at the door unless delivery instructions were provided in checkout.
If our delivery partner attempts delivery but you are not available and they cannot find a safe place to leave your order, they may try to contact you at the phone number provided during checkout.
If the driver is unable to complete delivery for any reason, the product will be returned to the store and your refund will be submitted for processing.
What should I do if I do not receive my Same Day Delivery order?
Check the status of your order here. If product is showing delivered, check around your home to make sure the driver didn't leave the product in a concealed location. If you are still unable to find your product, click here.
If we were unable to deliver your product, the status will show returned. The product will be returned back to your local store and your refund will be submitted for processing.
Please Note: Processing time may vary, but typically will be processed in 2 business days.

Due to COVID restrictions, stores located in Ontario and Dartmouth in Nova Scotia are closed to the public and unable to accept returns. If you wish to return an item that was purchased online, please click here to start the return process.
If your item purchase was made in-store or was a curbside pickup order, we will accept in-store returns AFTER the in-store shopping restrictions are lifted. We do not yet have a date for re-opening at this time.
