This 13 inch bed mattress comes in a box. It's highly recommended to have a waterproof deep pocket mattress protector for it, as it comes with a not zippered cover. You can get a mattress pad or pillow top topper for a better experience when you feel extra firm or plush. Most Sleeplanner mattresses at least have a layer of gel foam. It helps air circulation and creates cooling effect. This isn't a specific model for RV but if you want to use it in a rv camper, please measure the dimension before you make any decision. It works well with most platform bed frames without any additional support. You don't need to buy a mattress and box spring set. The 13 inch mattress is available in Queen, King and Full size.
