This 10 inch bed mattress comes in a box. It's highly recommended to have a waterproof deep pocket mattress protector for it, as it comes with a not zippered cover. You can get a mattress pad or pillow top topper for a better experience when you feel extra firm or plush. Most Sleeplanner mattresses at least have a layer of gel foam. It helps air circulation and creates cooling effect. This isn't a specific model for RV but if you want to use it in a rv camper, please measure the dimension before you make any decision. It works well with most platform bed frames without any additional support. You don't need to buy a mattress and box spring set. The 10 inch mattress is available in Queen, King, Twin and Full size. Twin and Full size mattresses are great for kids and fit daybeds, trundles and bunk beds.
