Great Proposal Stories

Perfect proposals don't just happen on the silver screen. Getting down on one knee may be a common theme, but there are a lot of ways of arriving at that point. See which of these would have you saying "yes!"
Getting Hooked
Becka and her fiancé are big into the outdoors and are always going fishing, camping, and hiking. On their last fishing trip, Jacob had a surprise for her. While she was looking the other way, he quickly changed the bait on his hook. He then announced, "I'm about to catch a big one." Becka being used to his fish tales played along and said, "Well let me see what it is." As he reeled in his line, she looked and found a ring tied on to the end of the fishing line. Jacob then asked her to be his wife. Now they can both brag about a great catch
Sky's the Limit
John proposed to Lauren on Valentine's Day. What made it so special was the way in which he did it. They were on a well needed vacation and had a suite on a secluded beach. One morning, John woke Lauren up early to watch the sunrise on the deck. As they were sitting there taking in the morning, a small plane with a banner flew overhead. The banner read "Lauren, will you marry me?" As she looked over to John, he pulled out her grandmother's ring from his robe pocket. It was an unforgettable moment for both of them.
"You made a wrong turn, Honey"
Sharon's fiancé had planned an elaborate evening starting with dinner at her favorite restaurant. On the way home, however, he had a surprise for her. Instead of heading back home, he headed in the opposite direction. Sharon insisted he was going the wrong way, until they pulled up at a romantic inn. He explained he had gotten them a room for the evening and then pulled out an overnight bag he'd packed. All was revealed when he opened the door to the room which was filled with roses and candlelight. He got down on one knee and he barely got any further before she was grabbing the ring with a resounding "yes!"
Ten Moving Boxes And A Ring Box, Too
Jamie was moving from the Midwest to California to be closer to her then boyfriend. As the movers came to the door and looked around, they explained they weren't sure everything was going to fit in the truck. When she went outside to see the size of the truck, she was shocked to see her fiancé sitting in the back waiting for her. With a quick hug, he got down on his knee and pulled a beautiful ring out of his pocket. "Yes, I will!" was Jamie's teary response.
A Large Pie With Everything
Gerry and Elaine were high school sweethearts. After dating for 10 years, one night they were going to dinner at their favorite pizza place. What Elaine didn't know was Gerry's brother was behind the counter filming the entire thing. When the pizza was delivered to the table, a ring was sitting on the plastic disk in the center. At first she didn't notice, then she started to cry as he slid next to her in the booth and popped the question. They still have the videotape to relive the moment.
No matter how it is done, on one knee or skydiving off a plane-every proposal is special and something not soon to be forgotten.
